Building Services Regulation has changed!

Did you know the Building Services Regulation has changed?

New legislation released on the 1 July 2008 requires all high occupancy buildings to have an appointed Fire Safety Adviser who has completed an accredited course. Â
(See section 34 of the Regulation, or call Steve for more information). Organisations have 12 months to comply with the new changes including changes to the requirements for emergency plans.

The Fire safety adviser must hold a building fire safety qualification issued by an RTO after successful completion of an approved course. The building fire safety qualification expires every three years.
