30864QLD Implement Traffic Guidance Schemes (MUTCD Level 2)
Who Should Attend
Any person who has an interest in traffic control or wishes to implement Traffic Management Plans.
Course Outline

- Definitions related to roadworks signing
- Identifying traffic control devices and their functions
- Implementing traffic guidance schemes
- Record keeping
Pre Qualification
Must hold Level 1 Traffic Management. Be able to communicate well and MUST have sound literacy skills.
Assessment
Open book written assessment that focuses on the participant’s ability to read and interpret the Part 3 Work on Roads manual. Participants who score low in the assessment will require re-training before re-assessment
Outcome
Participants who demonstrate competency will receive a Certificate of Attendance for MUTCD Level 2. At this stage participants will also be issued with 3 Third Party Report Verifications and 3 Traffic Management Logs to complete 3 on the job sign configurations. On completion of the signage confirmation practical’s participants are required to return the documents to ASTA to be verified. A Statement of Attainment for 30864QLD Implement Traffic Guidance Schemes will be issued along with a Digi-cad valid for 3 years.
ASTA may be able to supply the 3 practical assessments. This will need to be scheduled prior to the start of the training. Additional costs will be involved.
Delivery
The course will be delivered via a face-to-face format in either ASTA training rooms or at your workplace, depending on numbers and requirements. Scheduled public course dates are also available; please ask for a training calendar.
