Elevating Work Platform Association "Yellow Cards"
Who Should Attend
Any person wishing to gain the skills required to obtain competency to operate Scissorlifts and articulated Elevated Work Platforms up to 11 Metres.
Aim
The aim of this course is to provide the participant with adequate knowledge to successfully complete the assessments required prior to application for a Yellow Card to operate Scissorlifts and articulated Elevated Work Platforms up to 11 Metres.
Course Outline
On completion of this course, participants will know:
- Workplace Health & Safety Regulations and requirement
- Underpinning knowledge and skills requirement
- Equipment safety and specific theory
- Practical operation of the machinery - operator checks and services, operating techniques, communication
Training Materials
On enrolment with ASTA, the participant will attend a training course which includes power point presentations and safety videos.
Assessments
The participant will undertake a written theory assessment. Following successful completion of the written assessment, a practical assessment will be undertaken.
Outcome
On successful completion of assessments, the RTO will lodge the application for a Yellow Card with the EWPA on behalf of the participant.
Delivery
The course will be delivered via a face-to-face format in either ASTA training rooms or at your workplace, depending on numbers and client requirements.
