Who Should Attend
Employers/Supervisors or employees who have been (or may be) appointed as a Fire Warden for their workplace.
Aim
This course has been designed to introduce the trainee to the duties and responsibilities of a Fire Warden and to obtain the necessary fire safety, prevention, protection, risk assessment and control knowledge to perform those duties.
Course Outline
On completion of this course, participants will understand:
Training Material
Participants receive a handout for completion. Power Point presentations form part of this training, and the provision of a practical exercise under controlled conditions.
Assessment
There is no formal assessment undertaken for this training.
Outcome
On completion of this course, the trainee should have an understanding of, and be able to participate in an effective fire safety program. Participants will receive a Statement of Attendance.
Delivery
The course will be delivered via a face-to-face format usually at your workplace, or ASTA's training facilities may be utilised.
Duration
1 - 1.5 Hours - Maximum 15 Participants per session
